The AUU Executive, Board, and outgoing SRC Executive approve a restrictive funding agreement for the following year on the last day of the term.

The SRC Publishes it’s Counter Guide to Facebook.
The AUU President, uses an article within to suspend any payments in relation to the Counter Guide.
In response, the SRC Condemns this action on Facebook
The AUU uses this as reason to begin thinking about suspending all funding to the SRC for the remainder of the year.

The AUU Board holds a special meeting to deal with the SRC.
The AUU Board agreed unanimously to:
- Suspend SRC funding with the possibility it be restored after 25 March if the SRC President and/or General Secretary attend a meeting.
- Asks that the SRC pay it for Counterguide, placing the SRC in deficit.
- The Board formally suspends the President’s Honourarium

The result of the Board vote is communicated with the SRC President, and General Secretary
To have any chance of restoring funding, they have to attend a meeting on 25 March at 12:00pm with the AUU President and Vice-President.
This is the time of the previously scheduled Student General Meeting, which the SRC was hosting.
- The date of the Student General Meeting was confirmed since the first meeting of that year’s SRC on 9 December 2021.
Despite protestations, the AUU President only moves the meeting time by half an hour to 11:30am.
The AUU President additionally adds the stipulation for continued funding that an item at the Student General Meeting be withdrawn.

The SRC President chairs the Student General Meeting.
The SRC General Secretary attends the meeting with the AUU President and Vice-President.
The AUU confirms that previously suspended funding will not be restored.
